FAQ

Do you charge for estimates?

Woodland Creek Landscaping offers a free initial consultation and quote for services .

Is there a fee for landscape design?

If you choose to contract with Woodland Creek Landscaping for the plant and landscape installation the design is complimentary.  Otherwise, the design is available for purchase. Our design fee is $85 per hour. If you are interested in just design work, we will give you an estimate of how many hours of work it will take to create your design once we have met and discussed your project.

How much control do I have over the design?

As much or as little as you'd like. When we meet with you to begin the design process, we'll discuss your tastes, planned uses for your new space, plant preferences and much more. Woodland Creek Landscaping is your partner in the process and we work with you in a way that's most comfortable for you.

When can you begin my new landscape installation or renovation?

Typically we can begin within a few weeks of receiving your signed contract – sometimes sooner, depending on the time of year. As we finalize our agreement, we'll let you know approximately when your new installation or renovation will begin. Our timeline, of course, is dependent on weather conditions too.

Will I have the same crew throughout my landscape project?

Yes, from start to finish.

What should I expect at a design consultation with Woodland Creek Landscaping?

You will meet with our landscape design team at your home. We will ask you to complete a design questionnaire prior to our meeting and we will review that with you when we meet. We will ask you additional questions about what you envision for your landscape, what your preferences are for plants and materials, and we will exchange ideas. We will walk the site and take photos and measurements of your property. You can prepare for a design consultation by gathering photos of landscapes and design elements you like.

What does a typical landscape renovation cost?

Every landscape project is unique.  Project costs can vary widely depending on things like site accessibility, removal of existing plants and hardscapes, choice of new plant materials and new hardscape materials.  For example, shredded bark mulch is a less expensive choice than stone mulch. After an onsite meeting, thorough site evaluation and sometimes a landscape design, Woodland Creek Landscaping can provide you with an accurate estimate.

Why should I spend money improving my landscape?

Your landscape is one of the few investments you can make that will result in a significant improvement in the value of your property. We spend the same amount on vehicles that last seven years, at best, and depreciate from the point of purchase. Why not make an investment in a property you will enjoy, in some cases, for a lifetime. Your property is one of your greatest investments. Why not enjoy it to the fullest and maximize your equity?
